Ms. Drewes is in her 9th year teaching with SLJH and Spartan Theatre Company. Before becoming a teacher, she worked as a professional scenic artist, set designer, and theatre technician for the Houston Theatre district. Having grown up in the classroom with her mother, who is also a teacher, Ms. Drewes has a passion for working with her students to help grow in confidence and ability, whether that is onstage or off. In her free time, she enjoys reading, painting, and traveling (especially to Disney).

Mr. Chocs - Theatre Director

Mr. Chocs has been a theatre educator for 34 years, first teaching in Alief ISD before moving out to Katy and opening Seven Lakes High School in 2005. His passion for theatre began with his first high school production of 'The Music Man'. He loves to make people laugh and loves to make fun of his advancing age. His #1 rule is When not at work, Mr. Chocs enjoys hunting, fishing, watching the Astros, and spending quality time with his wife Sandy and their family.
